Mrs. Tracy McCaw Lawrence, age 53, of Alston died Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a native of the Kibbee Community but spent most of her life in Montgomery County. She worked for Thomas and Betts for sixteen years and then five years as a secretary and school nurse for the Montgomery County School System. She attended the Uvalda Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel McCaw; father-in-law, Mack Lawrence; and brother-in-law, E.F. Fountain.

Mrs. Tracy is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Steve Lawrence of Alston; one daughter, Jamie Lawrence of Vidalia; one son, Daniel Lawrence of Alston; one sister, Elaine M. Fountain of Vidalia; one brother, John G. McCaw and wife Patricia of the Kibbee Community; one grandson, Reve Page; her mother-in-law, Alatha Lawrence of Alston; two sisters-in-law, Diann Lawrence, and Janice Lawrence Sturgis and husband Tim all of Alston; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, April 12th at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Adrian Bell and Reverend Joe Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrence Family Cemetery near Alston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00.
