Mrs. Grace Morrell Burns, age 74 of Vidalia, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 in the Bethany Nursing Center in Vidalia after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and was employed at Rosebud Manufacturing in Vidalia and Toombs Manufacturing in Lyons. She was a member of the Smith Street Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Burns in 1997, and her parents, George and Edna Mosley Morrell.
Mrs. Burns is survived by two sons, Mike Burns and wife Debbie of Cobbtown; and Jeff Burns and wife Veronica of McDonough, one brother, Kenneth Morrell of Bradenton, Florida, one granddaughter, Cady Carter of McDonough, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 13th at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Grady Mosley officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday Evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
