Higgston,

Mrs. Annette Corbin Moxley, age 75, of Higgston, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 at her daughter’s home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, living there most of her life until moving to Higgston twenty years ago.  She was co-owner of Moxley’s TV and Appliance in Kibbee, a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church, and a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kibbee.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Moxley; a son, Allen Campbell; parents, Lamar and Frances Wells Corbin; and two brothers, Mike Corbin and Gary Corbin.

Mrs. Moxley is survived by one daughter, Susan Campbell Steptoe and Brett Tarver of Higgston; one son, Curtis Wheeler and wife Susan of Tarrytown; two sisters, Jeanne Corbin of Higgston and Penny Poole of Center; seven grandchildren, Dustin Tarver, Ashley Powell, Brittany Odom, Lee Wheeler, Curtis Wheeler, Michelle Wheeler, and Dempsey Coe; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, May 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend H.G. Ridgdill officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
