He had a beautiful smile and quick wit. Chris and I had many chats during his time at CMS and I enjoyed each and every one of them. He was a man of integrity and had a deep sense of purpose. Chris and I met in Anchorage, Alaska. He was best man at my wedding and Godfather to my son. He was a good friend and moral support through hard times, I can not express the loss. He touched so many lives, he had a wonderful sense of humor (He actually set me on fire once with a firecracker!). I will miss his funny text messages, his laugh, his ear to ear grin! I will miss him. Godspeed my friend, you will live on always in my heart.

Dear Sandy, Charlton & families,
I feel as if I've lost another son. Although I haven't seen Chris very much since Jim died, when I did, he was always his same, sweet self to me! Shock & disbelief describe what I felt when Julie called to tell me about him & Russ. Two more young men gone too soon. You can rest assured that Chris touched many, many young people's lives in such a positive way. He will never be forgotten by those young people, nor by those of us who really knew him. I will always be grateful for the wonderful job he did with the eulogy at Jim's funeral --and I know how difficult that must have been for him!
