Mrs. Gloria Wilson Kersey, age 88, of Lyons, died Monday, April 20, 2015 in Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lyons, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Jesup, and lived most of her life in Lyons.  She worked at Toombs County Manufacturing for twenty years, and attended the Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Kersey; and parents, John Wesley Wilson and Maggie Sanders Wilson.

Mrs. Kersey is survived by one brother, James Wilson and wife Mary of Lyons; numerous cousins; and special friends, Estelle Collins, Carolyn Powell, and Russell Powell.

The graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the South Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:30 until 10:30.
