Lyons,

Mrs. Eunice Pittman Odom, age 92, of Johnson Corner, died Friday, July 22, 2016 at her daughter’s home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Johnson Corner and lived there most of her life.  She was a homemaker, and a member of the Edmond Chapel Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Odom; an infant son, Richard Allen Odom; seven brothers, Dewitt Pittman, John T. Pittman, Noah Pittman, Jim Pittman, Ben Hill Pittman, Hugh Pittman, and Woodrow Pittman; and three sisters, Anna Lou Pittman, Wennie Pittman, and Marie Autumn.

Mrs. Odom is survived by three children, Jerry Odom of Johnson Corner, Harold “Turkey” Odom, and Shonda Odom Williamson and husband Joe, all of Lyons; one sister, Lorene Rustin of Savannah; five grandchildren, Tekisha Williamson Paul and husband Benjamin of Lyons, Jerry Odom Jr., Sarah Odom, Casey Amber Odom, all of Vidalia, and Caleb Odom of Lyons; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Nathan Pittman and Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
