While reading my local news I ran across Ernie's obituary and was saddened. Ernie lived in Black RIver NY as I did growing up. My heartfelt sympathies go to his wife and his family and all of his siblings. Jo Anne

Uncle Ernie was one of a kind. He was so good to my grandparents and my parents.
He was my sister Kim and my favorite uncle because of his big heart and great sense of humor. My son Josh even says he is getting a tattoo of something Ernie was sent to him in a letter. We will miss him but he will be in our hearts forever. You all are in our prayers.
