Cedar Crossing Community,

Mrs. Elizabeth Braddock Brinson, age 76, of Cedar Crossing, died Friday, March 24, 2017, in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, and lived there most of her life.  She was a homemaker, and a member of the Harden’s Chapel United Methodist Church.  She was always helping others, when she could not take of herself.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Brinson, Sr.; a son, Greg Brinson; parents, Wiley B. Braddock and Tommie Lou Rollins Braddock; and a brother, Cecil Braddock.

Mrs. Brinson is survived by four children, Larry “Luke” Brinson of Cedar Crossing, Cindy Brinson Sanders and husband David of the Marvin Community, Tony Brinson and wife Denise of the Johnson Corner Community, and Diane Brinson Hart and Jimmy of Cedar Crossing; four sisters, Tommie Grace Reynolds, Juanita Reynolds and husband Bobby, Beverly Ann Braddock, all of Cedar Crossing, and Della Mae Cobb and husband James of Milledgeville; one brother, Thomas Braddock and wife Bea of Birmingham, Alabama; fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 28th at 3:00 p.m. in the Harden’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Jarrell Lillard and Reverend Carroll Gay officiating.  Burial will follow in the Harden’s Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
