In Lovong Memory
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and
whispered, "come to me".
With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away, although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the Best.
Keeping you in thoughts and prayers. With Deep Sympathy...Sylvia Yeager and Family

PS: I had to share this poem... so beaufiful and well written. It says it all.

It was her desire to magnify Christ both in life and in death. (Philip. 1:20, 21). What a blessing she has been to us! May God grant His blessings and comfort to her dear family!

Debra was a truly singular person and I can honestly say that I have not met anyone else quite like her. She was strong, caring, funny, brave, loyal and exceptionally kind, all valued qualities. To say that she will be missed is a gross understatement. I loved her dearly and always felt close to her even though we had not seen one another is quite some time. My heart aches from the loss. She had such an impact on so many lives that I know numerous others are feeling the same way. What a precious gift she was to be in all of our lives. She will know what I mean by this, but she was a blessing to me.

My heart goes out to all of the family. I had the privilege of knowing Debra and her family for a long, long time. My daughter and her daughters were in school together and best of friends and then her baby daughter and my son went to school together all of their lives. She was loved by many and will certainly be missed by many. Please know that you were all loved. She didn't show favoritism and was proud of all of her girls. I remember her smile that always made you think she knew a secret and she did. She knew how to live life and love deeply. She was a true Christian and we all know that now she has a pure and perfect body and is smiling down from heaven and all know that there will be "a glad reunion day." God bless all and give the comfort that only he can give as you travel down this path.

Prayers sent to Debra's Family. I met her in the Fall of 1970 at Brewton-Parker. I was a homesick young man from Northern Kentucky. I came to BP to play Baseball. Debra always had that smile on her face and was so friendly. I came back to BP last year for Alumni Weekend and am so glad that I did. Debra still had that Great smile, a hug, and a kiss. I'm saddened by her passing but the Heavens opened up for her and I can feel that smile coming down from Heaven. Prayers for Debra's Family. From Grady Brown class of 1972 Brewton-Parker.

I became acquainted with Debra when she was began her job with the Special Education Department in Toombs County. She was very intelligent and taught me so much about Student Support and dealing with students of varying abilities and needs. I admired her spunk. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind in a group even if it meant stepping on a few toes! She was very supportive of the teachers she worked with. Even when the going got a little rough, you knew you could count on her to "have your back." I admired her wit. You honestly never knew what was going to come out of her mouth! Her laughter was contagious and her humor kept others "in stitches". She was a loyal friend. Even when time separated you, she kept in touch through the world of Facebook. She took the time to send private birthday messages, congratulations on your retirement messages, and get well messages. She had a knack for expressing her wit through writing, and I loved it when she felt good enough to "paint us all a picture in words" of some of the crazy and hilarious escapades she had with her family! She loved her family so much! Her eyes would light up talking about her Kendall, her girls (and their spouses), her beautiful grandchildren, and her precious siblings! Of course, out would come the pictures! I think the thing I admired most about Debra was her strong faith. Even in adversity, trials, and tribulations...and she had more than her share...she kept the faith, stayed positive, strong, and courageous, and trusted in The Lord's Master Plan for her. Over the last couple of weeks, many people have prayed vigilantly for her healing. Yesterday, I received a text telling me that Debra had been forever healed. God's Master Plan was complete. Debra is now walking the Streets of Gold and is singing with the Angels. She will never be sick again. As for us, our hearts are sad because we had to lose her too soon. Always a teacher... through the life she lived.... Debra left lesson plans in the hearts of her family and friends that will lead them into the Father's Mansion one day. Go rest high on that Mountain, Debra....you work on Earth is done.

Joh 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. Sister Debra went home with her Lord Jesus Christ and her angels as the host of Heaven rejoiced in her arrival. Jesus Christ the Lord saw the travail of His soul and was satisfied as another blood bought child came home. One day soon He will return in the clouds and we shall meet Him and them who come with Him. Until then may God continue to grant His presence, power, and comfort as only He can. Kiger's
