Zach Bond

Zach Bond, age 26, of Vidalia, died Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in Vidalia. He was born in Statesboro and lived in Vidalia most of his life. He was a 2018 graduate of Vidalia High School where he played on the golf team and was voted “Class Clown”. He was a 2022 graduate of Georgia Southern University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. He worked with Greenline Distributors and briefly with FedEx. He was a member of Cornerstone Church in Vidalia. Zach continued to play and enjoy golf, playing with his father at Spyglass Hill at Pebble Beach, Harbor Town and Haige Point on Daufuskie Island. He also enjoyed video games and was an avid Georgia football fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Hodges Bond; and paternal grandparents, Mark and Carolyn Bond.

Zach is survived by his father, Chris Bond of Vidalia; twin sister, Abby Bond Kemp and husband Ethan of Orlando, Florida; maternal grandfather, Harry Hodges of Bellville; and two aunts, Terri Jo Burner and husband Troy of Lake Oconee, and Sharon Marks and husband Stacy of Pembroke.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Green officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until 3:00.
