Mr. Wayne Hall, age 65, of Reidsville, died Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. He was a native of Tattnall County, living in Wayne and Toombs County most of his life. He was a 1978 graduate of Toombs Central School and a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired after thirty-one years as a lieutenant from the Georgia Department of Corrections in Reidsville. He worked as a truck driver with Con-Way Trucking and as an assistant truck-driving instructor at Southeastern Technical College in Vidalia. Wayne was a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge #32 in Reidsville, and he enjoyed collecting coins, hunting, fishing, working in his yard and tinkering. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Todd Hall; parents, James Kenneth Hall and Frances Pearl Norfleet Hall; and an infant brother, Clarence Clifford Hall.
He is survived by one son, Justin L. Price and wife Calli of Claxton; two stepdaughters, Julie Heckel and husband Justin of Lyons, and Lindsay Williams and husband Clay of Collins; four siblings, Freda Toole of Pooler, Connie S. Higgs, James C, Hall, and Faye Ortiz, all of Lyons; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Edmond Chapel Church of God on Wednesday afternoon from 3:00 until just prior to a graveside service at 4:00 at Edmond Chapel Church of God Cemetery with Masonic Rites.
