Mr. Wayne Denmark, Sr., age 60, of the Johnson Corner Community, died Sunday, September 23, 2018, in Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, from injuries received in a trucking accident in Bulloch County on Tuesday.  Wayne was a lifelong resident of Johnson Corner, was a truck driver most of his life, and was presently working with Thompson Timber Harvesting.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Eudene Gay Denmark.

Wayne is survived by two sons, Thomas Wayne Denmark, Jr. and wife Kim of Vidalia, and Benji Denmark and wife Kristi of Johnson Corner; his father, Thomas Edward Denmark and wife Janet of Johnson Corner; two sisters, Cheryl Denmark and spouse Valarie of Warner Robins, and Stephanie Joyner of Johnson Corner; three grandchildren, Rhett Cooper, Jazlyn Denmark, and Cole Denmark; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 27th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hardens Chapel Cemetery in Johnson Corner.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
