Wanda Adams Paulk, age 63, of Glenwood, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after a sudden illness. She was a lifelong resident of Wheeler County and was a 1980 graduate of Montgomery County High School. She was a member of Glenwood First Baptist Church where she also enjoyed the monthly Family Nights. She worked as a CNA at Glenwood Nursing Home for more than thirty years, and because of her nurturing nature, she cared for several of her family members throughout the years, and she loved calling and checking in with family seeing how their week was going. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie Staten Adams and Doris Kight Adams; and two sisters, Linda Adams Fortner and Tina Harper.
She is survived by two daughters, Gail Paulk of Vidalia and Nicole Paulk of Glenwood; one granddaughter, Emmy Paulk, a grandson, Adams to be born in April; three brothers, Buddy Adams and wife Lydia of Mt. Vernon, and Ben Adams and Aaron Adams and wife Amy, all of Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29th, 2025, at 11:00 at Glenwood City Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Hammons officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Glenwood First Baptist Church, PO Box 232, Glenwood, GA 30428.
