It was with great sadness I learned of Ray's passing. I had the pleasure of knowing and flying with Ray during our careers. He was always the ultimate professional at his job. It would bring a smile when I saw his name on the crew list, he was delight to work with him. He was always true gentleman and it was a priveledge to know him.

Lucy and Family, I have just seen the official obit, everything was so "Ray". Funerals are like weddings, we can have the service to fit the person. You surely did it right for Ray. My Aunt Ella said, "A person delivers their funeral every day of their life by the way they live", I truly believe this. Ray lived a good life and his service was equally good. He was a true Southern Gentleman, always being sure everyone was taken care of. We all loved him and will miss him. Lucy and all, remember you will always, always have your wonderful memories. I love you all dearly.

Lucy and Family, Ray has fought a courageous battle and won a victory. He never wanted to be seen as "sick" and was always more interested in how I was doing following Cancer. He was such a joy to be with. Having known Ray for most of my life, I consider it a great loss that I will not see him around town. You have been such a devoted caregiver, Lucy. I know your life is on hold but, know that you can be with him again. Ray is at peace and still loves you. God bless you all I pray

I met Ray when I played golf on SGI with him. He was kind and helpful to a new Snow-Bird from Missouri. His spirit will be soaring above us encouraging us to be the best we can be.
