Mr. Victor Manuel Guitard age 74, of the Normantown Community, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, in Puerto Rico after an extended illness. He was a native of Puerto Rico; he was drafted in 1965 in the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War. He retired from Harry Moses Construction as Construction Project Manager and was a member of Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church of Lyons. He was preceded in death by two wives, Odean Thompson Guitard and Trudy Heiser Guitard; three children, Annette Kirkland, Jimmy Lindsay and Daniel Lindsay; three grandchildren, Lance Lindsay, Tracy Burton and Heaven Akins; and his parents, Jacob Victor Guitard and Maria Torres Guitard.
Mr. Guitard is survived by five children, Glenn Lindsay and wife Sharon of Lyons, Tera Lindsay and Juan of Reidsville, Michael Heiser and Laurie of Mobile, Alabama, Carolin Wilt of Normantown, and Robert Wilt and wife Nicole of Bonaire; two sisters, Luz Skoblar and Melissa Parakevas; one brother, Edwin Guitard; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 23rd, at 3:00 p.m. in the Reedy Creek Full Gospel Church near Lyons with Pastor John Griffin and Reverend Bill Bentley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 until just prior to the service.
