Mrs. Uldine “Kinkie” Sammons Moseley, age 93, of the Five Points Community in Emanuel County, died Friday, February 13, 2026, at Meadows Park Heath & Rehab in Vidalia following an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, briefly lived in Millen, and returned to Vidalia where she lived until moving to Five Points in 1974. First and foremost, she was a homemaker and worked at retail stores in Vidalia and Lyons and in the lunchroom at Robert Toombs Christian Academy. She was a former member of First Baptist Church in Lyons and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, helped with Vacation Bible School and the church nursery. She enjoyed sewing for her “girls”, cross-stitching, reading, cooking, and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moseley is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Efton Moseley; parents, Elmer E. Sammons and Lucile Sharpe Sammons Wood; and brother and sister-in-law, Franklin and Lucy Sammons.
She is survived by three daughters, Angelene Moseley White and husband William of Cedar Crossing, Karen Moseley Sumner and husband Wiley of Five Points, and Melba Moseley McDaniel and husband Mark of Higgston; eight grandchildren, Tony White of Santa Claus, Andy White and wife Jessica of Cedar Crossing, Nancy White Landrum and husband Brandon of Cedar Crossing, Kerryl Sumner Spivey and husband Joey of Louisiana, Mandy Sumner Johnson and husband David of Johnson Corner, Clint Sumner and wife Mindy of Vidalia, Leslie McDaniel Bratton and husband Wesley of Cedar Crossing, and Brittany McDaniel Wiggins and husband Matt of Higgston; seventeen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon, February 16th, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Efton Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
