Trevor Garnett Holmes, age 27, of Alston, died Monday, November 8, 2021, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was a native of Nassau County, Florida where he lived most of his life, living in Toombs County and Woodbine for a few years. He was a 2013 graduate of Vidalia Comprehensive High School. He was a chef, and was a self-proclaimed “master chef”, enjoying cooking. Trevor was big-hearted and made an impression on everyone he met. He is preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Dawn Stalvey; and paternal grandfather, Carl F. Holmes.
His family includes his parents, Jamey and Mary Ann Holmes of Alston; four siblings, Zachary Holmes and girlfriend Jamie White of Cedar Crossing, Blake Mercer of Statesboro, Adam Buchanan, and Katarina Powell, both of Laurens County; maternal grandparents Pamela and Guy Stalvey, paternal grandmother, Mary Williamson, all of Nassau County; one niece Ryleigh; one nephew, Chandler; two aunts, Tina Alspaugh and husband Scott of Nassau County, Carla Quillen of Camden County, and one uncle, Ryan Stalvey and wife Wendy of St. Mary’s.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday afternoon, November 12th, from 1:00 until just prior to a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Hank Stevenson officiating.
