Mrs. Toni Ann Thompson, age 48, of Cedar Crossing, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Meadows Health after a sudden illness. She was a native of Toombs County, lived all of her life in Cedar Crossing, was a 1988 graduate of Toombs Central High School, and earned an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from Southeastern Technical College. She attended Cedar Crossing Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Lyons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harlow and Nancy Hall Clark.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Wallace Thompson of Cedar Crossing; four children, Lindsay Moon and husband Jeremy of Baxley, Hunter Powell and wife Carrie, Mackenzie Thompson, and Cason Thompson all of Cedar Crossing; three brothers, Randall Clark and wife Delores of Cedar Crossing, Joey Clark and wife Patricia, and Jamie Clark and wife Kathy all of Vidalia; one sister, Yvonne Clark of Collins; five grandchildren, Autumn Moon, James David Moon, Skylar Powell, Lane Powell, and Daisy Powell, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, June 1st at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey and Pastor Melvin Kramer officiating. Burial will follow in Dead River Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.
