Mr. Tim Brown, age 66, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia. He was a native of Toombs County, a 1977 graduate of Appling County High School in Baxley, and has lived in Vidalia since 1978. He was retired due to disability and was the previous owner of Sterling Micro Computer Center in Vidalia and was employed by the City of Vidalia for 15 years. He was also previously employed by Coleman Sales and J&J Electronics, his family-owned business. Mr. Brown was an avid hunter in earlier years, enjoyed the sport of target shooting, collecting firearms, and loved 70s Rock & Roll music.
He was preceded in death by son, Tyler McKenzie Brown; and parents, Paul Brown and Lynette Moore Brown, all of Vidalia.
Mr. Brown is survived by two children, Chris Brown and wife Whitney, and Marissa Brown, all of Guyton; one brother, Perry Brown and wife Susan of McNatt Falls Community; two grandchildren, Ollie Brown and Addie Brown; nephews, Scott Brown, Luke Brown and wife Ashley, and Thomas Brown and wife Dana, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 3rd, 2026, at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Randy McDuffie officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12:00 noon until just prior to the service.
