Tim H. Edwards

Mr. Tim H. Edwards, age 67, of the Normantown Community, died Monday, December 20, 2021, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness.  He was a native of Lyons, a 1972 graduate of Lyons High School and has lived in Normantown since 1974.  He was a truck driver for thirty-five years, working for Coleman Paper and Conway Southern Express.  He was Baptist by faith; and he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and raising livestock.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Meeks Edwards; parents, Manzy Edwards and Alice Reese Edwards; and five siblings, Faye, Pee Wee, Grace Eugene, and Keith.

His family includes two children, Timothy Edwards and Dusty C. Faircloth and husband Bo; four grandchildren, Ethyn Edwards, Connor Edwards, Holly Faircloth, and Will Faircloth, all of Normantown; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be Thursday, December 23rd, at 1:00 p.m. at Waters Cemetery with Pastor Owen Waters officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
