Tim Morris

Mr. Tim Morris, age 57, of Lyons, died Thursday, October 1, 2020, in Memorial Health in Savannah after a brief illness.  He was a native of Bulloch County, living in Screven County and South Carloina before moving to Toombs County in 1990.  He worked at Trane in Vidalia for seventeen years and was currently Captain of Security.  He briefly served in the Air Force and was Baptist by faith.  He enjoyed technology, crafting with LEGOS, collecting M&M memorabilia and reading.  He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest “Pops” Morris; one brother, Ricky Morris, and a sister, Michelle “Bug” Portwood.

Mr. Morris is survived by his mother, Joyce Evans of Lyons; two sisters, Theresa Akins of Statesboro, and Cara Bullard and husband Mel of the Rocky Ford Community; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
