Mrs. Tammy L. Tatum, age 59, of Lyons, died Friday, November 20, 2020, in Meadows Health in Vidalia after brief illness. She was a native of Charleston, South Carolina and graduated high school there. She lived in Savannah and Glennville before moving to Lyons in 2013. She worked as a CNA at Glennville Nursing Home for thirty years. She was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lyons, and she enjoyed quilting, knitting and walking. She was preceded in death by two husbands, David Sloan and Ronnie Tatum; and parents, Carl Patrick Moore and Christine Marie Pridgen Moore.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristine M. Hanselman and husband Cory of Salem, Illinois; five grandchildren, Caitlyn Hanselman, Emma Hanselman, Kaelie Hanselman and Lauryn Hanselman and Logan Hanselman; four step-children, Laura Tatum of Johnson Corner, Jennifer Fowler of Santa Claus, Wesley Tatum and wife Jennifer of Vidalia, and Jackie Tatum of Johnson Corner; one brother, William Moore of Glennville; four sisters, Vickie Walters and husband Bill, Patricia Moore, and Barbara Moore, both of Savannah and Susie Moore of Clarkesville, Tennessee; ten step-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, November 25th, at 6:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church.
