Stacey L. Fowler, age 55, of Toombs County, died Monday, May 30, 2022, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Montgomery County. She grew up in Higgston, later moved to Tattnall County, and was a 1984 graduate of Reidsville High School. She was a licensed cosmetologist and the owner/operator of A New Look Beauty Salon. She worked at Georgia State Prison for ten years, and had worked the past five years at Montgomery State Prison in Mt. Vernon. She attended Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. Stacey enjoyed spending time with her family, the beach, the river, shopping, arts and crafts and home projects.
Her family includes two sons, Brandon Vinson and wife Brittany of Vidalia, and Avery Vinson and wife Leah of Lyons; her parents, Durward Fowler and Opal Dean Fowler of New Branch; three siblings, Talmadge Fowler and Todd Hall of Vidalia, Darrell Fowler and wife Vicky of Nunez, and Avie Dean Fowler McCumber of New Branch; four grandchildren, Gabi Vinson, Kayden Vinson, Anslee Vinson and Ayden Vinson; two nieces, Megan Fowler and Karlye Claxton; one nephew, Dawson Claxton; one great-nephew, Lane Dismuke; and one great-niece, Kendhall Fowler.
The funeral service will be Saturday afternoon, June 4th, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Fowler and Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Burial will follow at Smyrna Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00.
