Sherry "Pennie" Poole

Mrs. Sherry “Pennie” Poole, age 77, of the Center Community, died Monday, June 2, 2025, at The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia following an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, living in Center most of her life, and she was a 1966 graduate of Vidalia High School.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Calvin “Donnie” Poole; and parents, Lamar Clyde Corbin and Frances Suzie Wells Corbin.

Her family includes two children, Donna Castleman and Don Poole, Jr. and wife Misti, all of Center; one sister, Jeanne Corbin of Vidalia; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4849 Paulsen St., Suite 102, Savannah, GA 31405.
