Sharon (Davis) Mack

Mrs. Sharon Davis Mack, age 61, of Collins, died Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was a lifelong resident of Tattnall County, living in Collins most of her life.  She worked at Vidalia Beauty Supply in Vidalia and at Toombs County Manufacturing for several years.  Sharon was a licensed cosmetologist, and was owner of Sharon’s Beauty Salon in Collins.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collins, and she enjoyed fishing, spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, and was a loving caregiver.  Preceding her in death were her parents, Merlon Walter Davis and Cornelia Daniels Davis; two brothers, G.L. Davis and Willie Davis; and a sister, Betty Davis Harrelson.

Her family includes her husband of thirty-two years, Eric Mack of Collins; two children, Dewayne Moser of Glennville, and Erica Mack Morris and husband Taylor of Reidsville; one granddaughter, Emersyn Tate Morris; one sister, Melba Jane Davis of Collins; three brothers, Johnny Davis and wife Pam, Hugh Davis, all of Collins, and Billy Davis and wife Lisa of the New Branch Community; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be Friday morning, August 11th, at 11:00 at the First Baptist Church of Collins with Reverend Steve Kimbrell officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Collins.
