Rock Springs Community,

Miss Sharon D. Knabb, age 59, of the Rock Springs Community, died Monday, September 24, 2018, in Emory University in Atlanta, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, and lived in the Rock Springs Community all her life.  Sharon enjoyed riding her scooter, shopping with her big sister, coloring in coloring books, watching animated movies, and eating hamburgers.  Also, she had a gift for keeping up with everything and anything.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Knabb.

Sharon is survived by her mother, Ruby White Knabb; one sister, Marcia Knabb Raimondi and husband Robert, all of Rock Springs; three aunts, Ruth White Wommack of Rock Springs, Joanne Knabb of Pooler, and Genell Knabb of Charlotte, North Carolina; one uncle, Otis White of Brunswick; and numerous cousins.

The funeral service will be held Friday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. in the Oasis Church of God with Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sharpe Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends at Oasis Church of God on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
