Saraha Ann Thompson Bryant, age 44, of Lyons, died Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Memorial Health in Savannah, after a battle with Covid. She was a native of Toombs County, and lived in the Ponderosa Community all of her life. She was a 1996 graduate of Toombs County High School, and a 1998 of Southeastern Technical Institute becoming a master cosmetologist. She was the owner of Sassy Saraha’s Salon in Vidalia. She attended New Beginning Church of God in Lyons and Mt. Vernon Church of God. She enjoyed fishing, the beach, baking, drawing and prayer walks. Saraha is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Thompson and Carolyn Jean Alder Thompson; and sister, Patricia Lewis.
Her family includes five children, Robert Lee Bryant, Emily Arianna Bryant, Riley Daniel Bryant, Nathaniel Lee Thompson, and Kaylee Marie Thompson, all of Lyons; five siblings, Janet Chambers of California, Robert D. Thompson of Lyons, Tommy Thompson and Sherry Music of Vidalia, Martha Jean Garza of Comer, and Wesley Eugene Thompson of Lyons; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 7th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Smith and Pastor Rodney Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Ohoopee Community Cemetery.
