Mrs. Sarah Ann Suttles, age 63, of Vidalia, died Friday, February 2, 2024, at her residence after a brief illness under the care of Affinis Hospice. She was born in Wurzburg, Germany, was a native of Valley, Alabama, and lived most of her life in Vidalia. Mrs. Ann worked for many years at Bi-Lo as the seafood manager and later worked with the Georgia Department of Corrections. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Vidalia. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, planting flowers, reading and studying her Bible, spreading the good news about Jesus, and was an avid Auburn fan. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Scott Suttles, Sr. and John Rollins; parents, Bobby J. Ledford, Sr. and Mary Silvas Bailey.
Her family includes two sons, Tim Suttles and wife Carmen of Hawkinsville and Scotty Suttles, Jr. and Jennifer of Higgston; two brothers, Bobby J. Ledford, Jr. and John Ledford and wife Tracey all of Alabama; three sisters, Carolyn Kelly and husband Brian of Colorado, Catherine “Sissy” Ledford and husband Darryl of Alabama, and Linda Woods and husband Anthony of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Kailey Rogers, Mason, Cannon, and Avery Suttles; one great-grandchild, Lakelynn Rogers; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The funeral service will be Monday afternoon , February 5th, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor David Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
