Mrs. Sandra Frost Kea, age 78, of Vidalia, died Monday, March 31, 2025, at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons following an extended illness. She was a native of Montgomery County, growing up in the Kibbee Community, and lived in Montgomery County and Toombs County all of her life. She was a 1964 graduate of Toombs Central School. Early in her life, she worked at Southern Bell, and in 1987, she and her husband founded Lady K, and they operated it for more than twenty-five years. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church in Vidalia. She enjoyed sewing and arts and crafts. She went all over South Georgia as a vendor to arts and crafts shows. She is preceded in death by two daughters, Dee Dee Carter and Kristy Carter; parents, Kermit L. Frost and Dealva Allmond Frost; and two brothers, Kem Frost and Kirby Frost.
Her family includes her husband of thirty-eight years, John L. Kea of Vidalia; one son, Chris L. Carter of Atlanta; two stepdaughters, Marsha Kea Harden and husband Les of Warner Robins, and Janet Kea Bracewell and husband Dan of Cadwell; seven grandchildren, Cody Carter and wife Amanda, Zachary Carter, Ryan Carter and wife Sarah, Blake Morris and wife Courtney, Janay Harrell and husband Brandon, and Ethan Harden; eleven great- grandchildren, Monroe, Warren, Callen, Ellis, Katie Brook, Taylor Kyle, Timber Lee, Landyn, Reagyn, Karson, and Asher; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be Wednesday morning, April 2, 2025, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Aldridge and Pastor Chris Rayner officiating. Burial will follow at Allmond Family Cemetery in Kibbee.
Pallbearers are Cody Carter, Zachary Carter, Ryan Carter, and Kenton Frost.
