Mrs. Ruby White Knabb, age 88, of the Rock Springs Community, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, into the arms of Jesus at her daughter’s residence following an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Rock Springs most of her life. She was a homemaker and attended Rock Springs School and Toombs Central School. She was a prayer warrior and an everyday evangelist, sharing the word and love of Jesus.
She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Jerome Knabb; a daughter, Sharon Knabb; parents, Frank Fuller White and Annie Lou Williams White; three brothers, Elmer White, Hubert Thigpen, and Otis White; and one sister, Frankie O’Neal.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Marcia Knabb Raimondi and husband Robert of Rock Springs; one sister, Annie Ruth White Wommack of Rock Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with her nephew, Bishop Gilbert Wommack officiating. Interment will follow at Sharpe Cemetery near Alston.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Heath Barnes, John Morris, Justin O’Neal, Tony White, Danny Wommack, and Dustin Wommack.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donation to Regency SouthernCare Hospice, 1006 Mt. Vernon Road, Suite B, Vidalia, GA 30474.
