Ronnie C. Still

Mr. Ronnie C. Still, age 66, of Vidalia, died Friday, February 13, 2026, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after brief illness. He was a native of Toombs County, living in Vidalia most of his life, and was a 1977 graduate of Vidalia High School. Soon after high school, Ronnie began a thirty year career in the grocery business, working at Food Fair (which later became Piggly Wiggly), Bi-Lo, and Food Lion. More recently, he was a Wal-Mart department manager in Vidalia. Earlier in his life he attended First Baptist Church of Vidalia. Ronnie was an avid golfer, playing in local golf tournaments with his son and his best friend, Joey Dykes. He was an enthusiastic Georgia Bulldogs football fan, and he enjoyed sitting by a fire in the fall, helping others in the community, fishing, working in his yard, going out to eat, and vacationing at the coast. Ronnie enjoyed music, especially classic rock and country. He loved animals, especially dogs, and spending time with his grand puppies, Maple, Molly, and Mazie. He was a loving father to his son and daughter-in-law, and was best known for his positive attitude,  his smile, and sense of humor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew Claude Still and Doris Donaldson Still; and a brother-in-law, Charlie Reese.

He is survived by one son, Tyler B. Still and wife Liz of Dublin; three sisters, Debbie Reese, Kathy Hester and husband Jerry, all of Vidalia, and Angie Livingston and husband Blair of Midland, Texas.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026 at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Don Moye officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Pallbearers are Cecil Thompson, Joey Dykes, Kyle Davis, Josh Maddox, Gary Berens, Jerry White, and Wesley Kight.

Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Wal-Mart in Vidalia.
