Roger L. Brannon Obituary
Mr. Roger L. Brannon, age 37, of Glenwood, died Monday, April 5, 2021, at his home as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Appling County in November 2020. He was a native of Wheeler County where he lived most of his life, and lived in Montgomery County for a few years as a child. He worked with Southeast Masonry as a block and brick mason; was Baptist by faith; and he enjoyed the outdoors and yard work. He is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Connell; grandmother, Sudie Edenfield; and stepmother, Cynthia “Ma” McAlum.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Brannon of Glenwood; three children, Caleb Carey, Shiann Carey and Landan Carey, all of Glenwood; and one brother, Allen Brewer of Vidalia.
A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, April 12th, at 3:00 p.m. in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery with Pastor BL Horne officiating.
