Richard "Ron" Ronald Sharpe

Richard "Ron" Ronald Sharpe, age 74, of Lakeland, Florida passed away December 4, 2025, at Lakeland Regional Health.

Ron was born in Norfolk, Virginia, on March 31, 1951, to Dick Richard and  Elizabeth McNamee Sharpe. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving during Vietnam. He moved from Coral Springs, Florida to Lakeland forty-eight years ago. He was a computer technician with IBM and was of the Episcopal faith.

He was an avid golfer and traveled the U.S. on golfing trips.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Linda Sharpe, sister Lynda (Dan) Pacetti, brother Thomas (Janice) Sharpe and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday morning, December 14, 2025, at 10:00 at Sharpe Cemetery near Alston.
