Rhonda Jean Coleman, born December 6, 1962, in Vidalia, Georgia, left this earth for her Heavenly home on February 3, 2026. Throughout her life, Rhonda shared her beautiful voice to glorify God and touched countless lives with her kindness and generosity. She worked as a medical transcriptionist, a bank teller, and a car saleswoman, but her most cherished role was that of a mother and grandmother.
Rhonda’s greatest joy came from raising her daughters, Hannah ShaRae Morgan and Halli Morgan Smith (Brenton), and being a devoted grandmother to her beloved grandchildren, Miles Holder, Teagan Smith, Jasper Smith, and Kaspian Morgan. She poured her heart into every moment spent with them, creating memories filled with laughter, love, and wisdom. Her pride in her grandchildren was evident to all who knew her, and she embraced every opportunity to nurture, guide, and celebrate them.
Known affectionately as “Mama Rhonda,” she became a mother figure to many children throughout the years, adopting them into her heart and family. Her legacy of unconditional love, compassion, and generosity will live on in the lives of her family and all those she cared for.
Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Randall Coleman, her mother Jeannette Coleman, and her sister Melinda May.
Rhonda is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, her brother John Coleman (Carla), her sister Cathy Kennedy (Don), several nieces and nephews, and the many friends and loved ones who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel loved.
Visitation will be held at Cornerstone Church of Vidalia, Ga on Friday, February 6th, 2026, at 1pm with a memorial service to follow at 2pm. Reverend Jose Caraballo will officiate.
Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home of Vidalia is in charge of arrangements.
