Pauline M. Petrosky, age 79, of Vidalia, died Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Memorial Heath in Savannah after a brief illness. She was a native of Toombs County, living near Vidalia most of her life and was a 1965 graduate of Vidalia High School. She was a security guard at Edwin I. Hatch Plant for a few years and was a correctional officer at Georgia State Prison in Reidsville for several years. She enjoyed fishing, sewing, canning, the many dogs she had through the years, spending time with family and friends and meeting new people.
She is preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Foskey in 1988; parents, Robert Mosley and Jewell Faircloth Mosley; brother, Donald Mosley; and son-in-law, Jeff Foskey.
Mrs. Petrosky is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, Jeff Petrosky; two children, John Foskey of Uvalda, and Paula Foskey of Vidalia; two grandsons, Randall Foskey and wife Jamie of Lyons, and Branden Foskey and wife Jenny of Eastman; one great-granddaughter, Chasity Foskey of Lyons; one sister, Donna Mosley Wilson and husband David of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Elder Jerry Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow at Hardens Chapel Cemetery.
