Patsy (Williamson) Stringfield

Mrs. Patsy Williamson Stringfield, age 85, of Vidalia, died Friday, October 2, 2020, at her home.  She as a native of Toombs County and lived there until moving to Aiken, South Carolina where she lived for thirty-five years and moved to Montgomery County in 2019.  She worked at Vidalia Garment Factory and Oxford Industries for many years.  She was a member of Vidalia Baptist Temple before moving to Aiken.  She enjoyed yard work, feeding birds and reading her Bible.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Stringfield; parents, Cecil Earnest Williamson and Rebecca Palmer Williamson; and a brother, Earnest Williamson and wife Frances.

Mrs. Stringfield is survived by three children, Cynthia Howard Outler of Alston, Michael Howard and wife Kim of Higgston, and Michelle Durden Young and husband Tony of Charleston, South Carolina; three brothers, Doug Williamson, Kenneth Williamson and wife Merldeen, and Cecil Williamson and wife Glenda, all of Higgston; one sister, Pansy Williamson Clodfelter and husband Bill; nine grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Malone and husband Willie, Hester Outler Giles and husband Jamie, Kahla Rebecca Outler and Tracy Jackson, Sean Anthony Young and wife Kaitlyn, Dustin Ennis and wife Asia, Elizabeth Miller and husband Mike, Hannah Michelle Morris and husband Josh, Courtney Blakely and husband Tim, and Caitlynne Hux; eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 7th, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Clarence Best officiating.  Burial will follow in Pinecrest Cemetery.
