Patricia Ann Willis, age 82, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at her home following an extended illness. She was born on November 18, 1943, in Montgomery County to the late John “J.E.” Ephraim Willis and Geneva Sammons Willis. She lived in Montgomery County all of life and graduated from Montgomery County High School, Class of 1961. She retired from Oxford Industries after more than forty years as a costing technician. She was a long-time member of Ruth’s Chapel Church where she previously served as church treasurer, and taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crosswords, cross-stitch, Sudoku, cooking, and spending times with her grandbabies.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kim Willis Jenkins and husband Jason of Vidalia; two grandchildren, Maura Shifflet of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Jackson Jenkins of Vidalia; two sisters, Joyce Willis Waters of Vidalia, and Johnnie Willis Sanders of Soperton; one brother, Bo Willis and wife Sally of Vidalia; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, at 2:00 at Ruth’s Chapel Church with Reverend Bill Lee officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Ruth’s Chapel Church on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
