Patricia (Humphrey) Clark Poole

Patricia Humphrey Clark Poole, age 90, of Uvalda, died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Pineland Personal Care Home in Hazlehurst after a brief illness.  She was a native of Montgomery County and grew up in the Kibbee Community.  She was a 1952 graduate of Kibbee High School and lived in Uvalda most of her life.  She was owner/operator of Altamaha Flower Shop in Uvalda for many years and was a dietitian for The Bethany Home in Vidalia.  Pat was a member of Charlotte Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.  She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and fishing.  She was preceded in death by two husbands, J. Donald Clark and Joe Poole; her parents, William Clarence “Bill” Humphrey and Mollie Mills Humphrey; and five siblings, Carmie Humphrey Foskey, Bubbie Humphrey Clark, Jane Humphrey Wilcher, Bobby Humphrey, and Goldie Humphrey.

Her family includes two sisters, Elizabeth Humphrey Simpson and husband Dan of Hazlehurst, and Cynthia Humphrey Manning of Douglas; one sister-in-law, Jennifer Brooks Humphrey of Glenwood; one brother-in-law, Raybon Clark of the Charlotteville Community; and several nieces and nephews, including a niece, Tammy Patricia Simpson and a nephew, Brent Simpson, both of Hazlehurst.

The funeral service will be Wednesday afternoon, May 14th, 2025, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Gary Martin and Tammy Simpson officiating.  Burial will follow at Uvalda City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
