Mrs. Nellie Fay “Pearl” Parker, age 83, of Uvalda, died Friday, January 2, 2026, at The Oaks-Bethany in Vidalia following an extended illness. She was a native of Toombs County, attended Toombs Central School, and lived near Uvalda most of her life. She was in the garment industry most of her life, working with Uvalda Manufacturing and Cedar Crossing Manufacturing. She was a member of Smyrna Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome L. Parker; daughter, Tammy Parker; parents, James Lewis Chambers and Myrtice Louise NeeSmith Chambers; three brothers, Randall, Steve, and Wyman Chambers; and one sister, Lenora Chambers Burkett.
She is survived by two children, George Parker and wife Tracy of Cedar Crossing, and Sherry Parker of Uvalda; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Dorothy Brantley and husband Jimmy, and Beverly Carpenter; one brother, Ronnie Chambers and wife Sue; sister-n-law, Dale Chambers, all of Uvalda; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Monday afternoon, January 5th, 2026, at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Melvin Kramer officiating. Interment will follow at Smyrna Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.

Pallbearers are Jordan Parker, Chad Kitchens, Darwin Foskey, Adam Carpenter, Michael Chambers, and Brian Chambers.
