Mr. Neal S. Morris, age 56, of Lyons, died Monday, March 17, 2025, in Hart County. He was a native of Toombs County, living in Decatur for ten years and in Toombs County most of his life. He attended Lyons Senior High School, and he was a general contractor and owner of Morris Construction. He was a member of Pendleton Springs Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching NASCAR, and collecting knives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin C. “Buddy” Morris and Norma Jean Hall Morris; and a brother, Franklin Dale Morris.
His family includes his wife of nine years, Tina Sapp Morris of Lyons; one son, Matthew Sapp and fiancé Misty Boehm of Chamblee, one daughter, Kasey Collins and husband Kris of Ludowici; two sisters, Melanie Beasley and husband Andy of the Normantown Community, and Michelle Everman of Riverside, California; six grandchildren, Makayla Sapp, Kaylynn Collins, Karleigh Miller, Kristopher Collins, Breckston, Sapp, and Jovi Boehm; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday afternoon, March 23rd, 2025, at 2:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
