Lyons,
Mrs. Myra Temples Soles, age 68, of Lyons, died Saturday, July 28, 2018, in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was born in Angola, Indiana and moved to Ft. Wayne, Indiana as a child. Myra moved to Macon in 1960, and has resided in Toombs County since 1968. She worked in the garment industry for several years and was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Vidalia Old Line Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Donnie Soles; and her parents, Elder Manning Temples and Beatrice Taylor Temples.
Mrs. Soles is survived by two children, Brandon Soles and wife Jessica of Lyons, and Wendy Floyd and husband Tim of the South Thompson Community; a special friend, Stanley Rowland; one sister, Barbara Temples Hall and husband Gary; one brother, Paul Temples and wife Linda, all of Vidalia; four grandchildren, Memphis Soles, Payton Soles, Bonnie Metts Morris and husband Charlie, and Brittany Floyd; three great-grandchildren, Skylar, Oliver, and Rhett, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Elder Gary Hall and Brother Rick Berry officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Crossing Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
