Mrs. Mina Lou Lyle, age 81, of Lyons, died Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. She was born in McKee, Kentucky on June 15, 1944, to the late Robert Tincher and Lucy Mae Owens Tincher. Growing up, she lived in several places in Kentucky, later living in Tennessee, Ohio, Florida and Indiana, before moving to Cedar Crossing in 1980 and to Lyons in the mid 1980s. She worked at Toombs County Manufacturing in Lyons for several years until its closure. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lyons; and she enjoyed walking, shopping, playing with her dog, going out to eat, and listening to music.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Glenn Lyle; and seven siblings.
She is survived by three children, Jody Tincher and wife Gail of Rushville, Indiana, Trina Woods and husband Lee of Lyons, and Scott Lyle and wife Sally of Martinez; one brother, Donald Tincher of Richmond, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, a great-grandchild to be born in March; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 until 12:00 noon.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday afternoon, February 24, 2026, at 3:00 at Hardens Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Caraway officiating.
