Mike Bowen

Mr. Mike Bowen, age 55, of Lyons, died Friday, September 6, 2019, in Jackson, Alabama, after a sudden illness.  He was a native of Toombs County, and was a graduate of Fernandina Beach High School. His career as a truck driver took him numerous places in thirty-eight years.  Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Bowen; and father, James Winston Bowen.

Mr. Bowen is survived by one daughter, Michaela Bowen; his mother, Mildred Frances “Frankie” Bowen; one sister, Bettina Michelle Bowen; one brother-in-law, Ivey Harris; one nephew, Levi Harris, all of Yulee, Florida; his girlfriend, Valerie Patton of Denton; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Toole officiating.  Burial will follow in the Old Mt. Zion Cemetery near Lyons.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
