Mr. Michael Mell “Mike” Taylor, age 67, of Vidalia, died Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his home after a sudden illness. He enjoyed vintage farm equipment and that the pond was stocked with fish. With night vision cameras, he loved to see wildlife, including deer, raccoons, fox, rabbits, even a traveling black panther. He is preceded in death by his father, Mell Taylor.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Taylor of Vidalia; one sister, Suzanne Taylor Adams and husband David of Evans; one brother, Mark Taylor and Katherine Frix of Cumming; two nephews, Taylor Adams and wife Kaitlyn of Evans and Chase Adams and wife Sandra of Brookhaven; and two great-nieces, Peyton Adams and Lucy Adams.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025, at 11:00 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with his cousin, Charles Taylor officiating.
