Mary Ann Fletcher, age 69, of Vidalia, died Thursday, October 9, 2025, at her home after a sudden illness. She was born on December 27, 1955, to the late Joe Phillips “Phil” Fletcher and Beulah Lee Reynolds Fletcher. She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Vidalia most of her life. She was a 1974 graduate of Vidalia High School, a homemaker, Baptist by faith, and enjoyed flowers, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Robby Panick and Rebecca Froehbrodt of Wrightsville, and Kelly Panick of Oak Park; four grandchildren, Cameron Panick of Oak Park, Annie Vargas of Costa Rica, and Colton and Marley Panick of Wrightsville; three siblings, Joe Fletcher and wife Debbie of Vidalia, Randy Fletcher of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Kate Fletcher Carter of Uvalda; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will not be a service, however the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon, October 12th, 2025, from 2:00 until 4:00.
