Martha Page Obituary

Mrs. Martha Lou Scott Page, age 80, of Vidalia, died Friday, October 24, 2025, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, moving to Miami, Florida, and graduated there at Miami Norland Senior High School in 1961. She returned to Vidalia where she lived the rest of her life. She worked as a telephone operator in Vidalia, Belk in Vidalia, and she was bookkeeper for her husband’s business, Pages Inc., and her son’s business, HPC. She attended Vidalia Old Line Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Page enjoyed playing the piano, painting ceramics, listening to Elvis, and more importantly, faithfully taking care of her mother and family.  She was also a history enthusiast. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Raymond Jerry Page; a grandson, Alston Page; her father, James Hoke Scott; parents, Ruby Dell Maddox Mosley and Cuyler Pierce Mosley; and brother, Walter “Sonny” Scott.

She is survived by four children, Jeanine Page Hayden and fiancé Michael Lovvorn of East Dublin, Wade Page and wife Jill of Oak Park, Joey Page and wife Amanda of Evans, and Alex Page and wife Nicole of the Five Points Community; one brother, Clarey Paul Scott of Warner Robins; twelve grandchildren, Jacob Hayden and wife Kate, Serena Hayden, Taylor Hayden and husband Fernando, Morgan Bazemore and husband Doug, Jared Page and fiancé Danielle Cannady, Josh Page, Whitney Page, Hannah Page, Aubrey Page, Chase Page, Tristin Page, and Weston Page; seven great-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren to be born soon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday afternoon, October 29th, 2025, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Durden officiating.  Burial will follow at Precious Memories Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
