Margrette (Williford) Foskey

Mrs. Margrette Williford Foskey, age 96, of Oak Park, died Monday, December 28, 2020, in the Community Hospice in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Oak Park and lived most of her life there. She was a homemaker and worked in the garment industry for many years.  She was a member of the Oak Park Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her husband Olin Foskey; a son Reverend Ervin Foskey; two grandsons, Dale Collins and Ricky Collins; great-grandson Judson Rogers; parents, Rufus O. Williford and Annie Mae Lumley Williford; seven brothers, Don Williford, Rudolph Williford, Otis Williford, Ottis Williford, R.L. Williford, and Aubrey Williford; and three sisters, Ruth Hall, Geneva Waters and infant sister, Carolyn Williford.

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Collins of Tarrytown; two sons, Ronald Foskey and wife Carol of Memphis, Tennessee, and Larry Foskey and wife Brenda of Lakeland, Florida; two brothers, James Ray Williford of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bobby Williford of Jesup; ten grandchildren,  Monty Foskey and wife Dawn, Janet Rogers and husband Jeff, Renae Foskey Mathis, Crystal Fawley and husband Kee, Trevor Foskey and wife Kendra, Sheri McVea and husband Brad, Gabrielle Foskey Thomas, Danielle Godwin and husband Nick, Jevon Foskey and wife Penny, and Tiffany Foskey Morgan; twenty great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

A private funeral service will be Thursday, December 31st, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Brad McVea officiating. 

Burial will follow at Findley Cemetery near Oak Park and all friends are welcome to attend the committal service.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 until just prior to the service.

The family has asked all to follow CDC guidelines while at the visitation, including social distancing and wearing a mask.  The service will be on Facebook Live at Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home Facebook page.
