Mrs. Margie “Dee” Green Trejo, age 73, Lyons, died Friday, October 3, 2025, at Oxley Park Health & Rehab in Lyons, following an extended illness. She was born in Bryan County, living in many places in south Georgia, including Bulloch County, Valdosta for twenty years, but always called Toombs County home. She was a 1970 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School. She sold Avon and Tupperware, worked at Oxford Industries, and she was a midwife and translator. She attended Lyons Holiness Church, and she enjoyed sewing, crafting, and music. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra William Green and Evelyn Coursey Green; and sister, Martha Green Medders.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Trejo of Valdosta; three children, Connie Smith, Shawn Willis, and Josh Willis, all of Lyons; six siblings, Tommy Green and wife Mary of Swainsboro, Margaret Green Brown of Dublin, Maria Green of Dublin, June Green Garcia and husband Michael of Lyons, Brenda Green Jackson and husband Micky, and Susan Green Cranford, all of Dublin; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
