Margie (Hadden) Beckum

Mrs. Margie Hadden Beckum, age 75, of Vidalia, died August 7, 2022, at her home after an extended illness.  She was a native of Normantown and lived in Toombs County all of her life.  She worked at Lyons Manufacturing and was a member of Vidalia Baptist Temple.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lee Beckum, Sr.; daughter-in-law, Kandi Beckum; parents, George Ivey Hadden and Hazel Jeanette Willis Hadden; and brother, Edward Ivey Hadden.

Her family includes two sons, Ricky Beckum of Vidalia, and Jerry Lee Beckum Jr. and wife Tammy of Oxford, North Carolina; two brothers, Bobby Hadden and wife Debbie, and Mark Hadden and wife Sharon, all of Normantown; one sister, Joyce Fields of Normantown; eight grandchildren, Ashley Beckum Conner and husband Clint, Ivey Beckum and wife Amy, Nyra Beckum Eason and husband Jeremy, Lee Beckum, Michelle Beckum Hewett and husband Travis, Brandon Beckum and wife Taylor, Heather Beckum, and Brittney Beckum and fiancé Jackson Matthews; and seven great-grandchildren, Clay Conner, Case Conner, Camden Conner, Cross Conner, Massey James Beckum, Sawyer Mae Beckum and Sadie Michelle Hewett.

The funeral service will be Tuesday afternoon, August 9th, at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Adrian Bell officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until just prior to the service.
