Margaret (Moore) Graves

Mrs. Margaret Moore Graves, age 69, of Lyons, died Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her home after an extended illness.  She was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina and lived in Tattnall County and Lyons most of her life.  She was a 1973 graduate of Reidsville High School and a graduate of Swainsboro Technical College.  She was a homemaker and a charter member of The Oaks Baptist Church.  Margaret enjoyed cooking, taking food to people, spending time at the pool and supporting SOAPS.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Moore and Wilma Collins Moore; and sister, Kathleen Moore Coyle.

Her family includes her husband of forty years, Jeff Graves of Lyons; one son, Justin Graves and wife Merritt of Pooler; one brother, Michael Moore of Statesboro; and four nieces and nephews, Anna Tucker and husband Robert of Tallahassee, Florida, Rowdy Coyle of Boston, Massachusetts, Patrick Moore and wife Kylie of Ellabell and Eric Moore of Nevils.

The family will receive friends at The Oaks Baptist Church on Saturday morning, March 22 from 10:30 until just prior to the memorial service at 12:00 noon with Pastor Paul Moore officiating.
